Meet the owner Julian Davis, better known as CHEF JD! Julian has a passion for food and customer satisfaction. He has
35+ years of culinary experience that ranges from being a private chef to country clubs and corporate restaurants. He loves to wow with flavor and fresh local food. Come and meet Chef JD and let him give you a taste of Southern comfort food, hospitality, and a standard of excellence.

Our History
It all started with JD's Mobile cafe located at The Backyard in Forest. In 2023 Chef JD won best barbecue in Lynchburg! Our latest cafe is located at 4925 Boonboro Road. Our Mobile cafe is still available for catering and large events!
Our Specialities
We are known for our mouth watering Southern Sandwiches including our New York Reuben and our original sandwich The Virginian.
